Hi, I'm Mashal - I love scaling things with good people. I've worn multiple hats in media, startups, investments, and web3. In web3, a big personal focus has deep diving into web3 grants and protocols. My summer projects have been: State of Web3 Grants Report (with Eugene Leventhal), and Ethereum Foundation's Summer of Protocols program. I'm also a DAO contributor, heading partnerships at BanklessDAO's publishing arm, Bankless Publishing TLDR on my long journey: csec => media => accelerator => femtech D2C => community => web3 I started off my career building security tools, in the rise of Dyn attacks, built security newsletters for fintech players, and was deep in the csec space. From there, I switched to the media space. My first media startup, The Tempest, has impacted millions of readers globally through powerful storytelling. Check out (thetempest.co) to understand the media storm we started. In 2020, I co-founded a business accelerator (60 Day Startups) taking women founders from early stage to revenue in 60 days. Next, I built a femcare startup removing the stigma around women's health with Venture Builder hatch&boost. Post that, I started Milestone Ventures, a consultancy focused on scaling audiences and communities. Our community building programs have been delivered in various accelerators and incubators including in5, MISK, Startupbootcamp, and Hypernest. In 2022, I was building in web3 with VenturePunk, a venture studio and builder community focused on rapid web3 experimentation, while DAOing my way through the space.
