Community Scholarship

The Community Scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers for SporkDAO members who are committed to #BUIDLing at ETHDenver 2024.

We don't want anyone's socioeconomic status to prevent them from participating in Camp #BUIDL and the #BUIDLathon.

ETHDenver 2024 Scholarship Claim Period has ended.

The scholarship application is another way to showcase all the amazing work you're doing in the community. Be sure to get your application in on time, for a limited number of community scholarships will be awarded. Each approved scholarship recipient will receive $250.00 USD on submission of a qualified project*.

How to Apply + the Process

Be sure and submit your application on time, keep an eye on your inbox for a status update, and accept your scholarship. The application consists of twelve core questions, including, but not limited to:

  1. How would you benefit from attending ETHDenver?
  2. Please describe how you are advancing blockchain and learning in your school and/or community. Name a specific example.
  3. What factors prohibit your attendance at ETHDenver in the absence of receiving a scholarship?
  4. What will your team members be able to count on you for when you start #BUIDLing your project for the #BUIDLathon?

Scholarship Project Requirements

To qualify for the ETHDenver 2024 SporkDAO Member Scholarship, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a SporkDAO Community Member
  • You must submit a qualified project to an ETHDenver Track during the #BUIDLathon
  • You must participate in the SporkDAO Community Project Fair on Sunday March 3, unless your project made it to the Top 15, which then requires you to participate in the Top 15
  • You need to submit your request for your scholarship travel stipend within fourteen (14) days of the #BUIDLathon being completed.

Scholarship Payments

  • Scholarship Travel Stipend will be sent with any track or sponsor bounty prize that the individual won during our ETHDenver 2024 Payment Period: March 11 to June 19, 2024.
  • Scholarship payment will be paid in USDC on Polygon
  • Scholarship recipient may be required to do KYC and provide a 2024 W8 or W9 tax form
