The “superchain” is a popular go to market among Layer 2 ecosystems. The rough approach is: distribute free and open-source software for teams to construct rollups that will eventually be subject to rent extraction–whether through a canonical cross-chain bridge or otherwise. This is strongly opposed to the notion of Layer 2’s as true public goods with no rent-seeking intentions.
