Currently, there Ethereum mempool requires a binary state for transaction validity in propagation, there is significant opportunity for improvement. As future work on Account Abstraction and "Intents" become more relevant, there are significant opportunities to improve the base p2p and consensus layer to make things more optimal, decentralized, and increase functionality/use-cases. A framework to think about the mempool will be presented, including transaction relay standardness, as well as other improvements.
